Activation of VAS without Consent and Unauthorized Charges lievied on my number – Vodafone
I am writing this email to you after getting facing unethical an unprofessional response from a company called Vodafone both from customer care and your nodal officer. Reference to Relationship Number: 1.26875694.
Hope Vodafone will read my email carefully before responding.
This is with reference to a message I received on 8th Jan 2015 around 1200 noon stated that my mobile internet package limit of 1GB has been exhausted. I was shocked to see this message as I do not think, I have used this much data. If you look at my previous usage history, I never crossed 700MB per month.
I reported this to Vodafone customer care and they told me that at times data usage happened in the background which is not visible. This is a very strange response I received from customer care. This kind of background usage never happened before.
Later Vodafone customer care and nodal office stated they will waive 25% changes of extra usage.
All this is strange that I need to pay the money for the service which I never used because Vodafone is forcing me to pay.
I paid the complete amount to avoid late payment fee as Vodafone complaint cell was not listening to me.
This unethical practice of Vodafone gone to next level when on 29th Jan 2015 I got a message stated that my 3G service has been activated. Please note that this activation was done without my consent. I immediately sent an email to Vodafone customer service and ask them to stop this immediately.
On 9th Feb 2015 I gave a call to your customer service and spoke to Mr. Suraj. I request him to confirm me the services activated on my number and he confirmed that there is a 3G service activated on my number with the rental of Rs 299.
Now, Vodafone has stopped responding to my email.
Vodafone has crossed every limit of unprofessionalism and started cheating customer to earn money.
Hope this will reach to Vodafone and they will take corrective actions.
Inappropriate and unresponsive Vodafone team
My wife has registered the complaint to Vodafone about her mobile bill being tampered with. She called vodafone complaints and talked to her so called relationship manager and explained all the dependencies in the bill when the same was generated last moth. Nothing had been done on this and Vodafone generates another bill in the same pattern this month as well. And to add to the discomfort, Vodafone has blocked her outgoing calls even after paying a part of the illogical bill. Great Work Vodafone, your team acting on complaints section really works.
