AMAZON MKTPLACE PMTS AMZN.COM/BILL WA

Received several bills on my amazon statements and wasn’t sure what they were (AMAZON MKTPLACE PMTS). Figured out that if you go on Amazon.com/archive orders and match the order charges to the charge card statements you receive on your charge card, they add up. Go by the amounts and not the dates ordered.

This is because Amazon charges only appear on your charge card when shipment was received–so there is a delay on your charge card. So, use the amounts in $ and not the dates. Now, if you have any charges that you cannot account for, then this is a problem and you should notify Amazon at 1-888-247-4080 and report fraud.

Also, I think this system is confusing and complicated in that you need to keep a copy of archived orders in order to check your charges. But, I guess this keeps it clear and concise for Amazon. By L. Pniewski
