SilverScript Gets In The Way More Than Helping

I’ve had to call Silverscript several times in the last 12 months. At first I had no problem getting prescriptions paid for through Medicare Part D. Then suddenly two of my prescriptions that I had received with no problem in the past needed “prior authorization” (PA) which means my MD has to explain why I need this particular drug.

When I call agents at Silverscript they are so very nice to the point of bowing and scraping but they always have to transfer my call and it often goes to a number where nobody answers or the person who answers is the wrong person.

Yesterday I called because I needed a refill early. On the first call the second person said “Sorry, we can’t do that.” On the second call the second person said my pharmacist needed to call the toll free number for pharmacies on the back or my card and give them the “secret code” of “PPS” and my Rx would be filled. This was at about 6:00 pm my time. So I called my pharmacy and they said that they will only call Silverscript in the morning because it takes over 20 minutes on hold even for them and they don’t have the time in the evening.

My pharmacy called me this morning and told me that “PSP” is bogus, there’s no such code and it was all a lie. I’m fit to be tied.

Call 1800-633-4227 and ask to speak to a senior representative-file a complaint with the senior management of Medicare-Silverscript misrepresentation-if your unable to reach a senior Representative at Medicare -keep trying, Silverscript has indeed become grossly negligent for the misrepresentation and fraudulent claims of medications they never paid for!

This is illegal and the medicare complaint online site or you may call. I urge us all to make a stand. Medicare dose not think silver script is a thirs party company and agrees it is dangerous for us!! please I beg you to go to medicare and copy and past your personal stories, medicare pays $80 dollars a month to silver script per person that’s our American tax paying money. then silver script is stealing more from us by the enrollments gaps the well honest what ever story silver script employee wants to tell. our life our govermenment money is latterly being stole people are loosing there lives, your thinking if medicare knows this and its on the medicare site why is silver script still around right?

medicare needs you medicare needs your stories once the government has enough of us then silver script will be brought to justice, as of last year medicare has put staged people within to gather more information. silver script will see the side of justice. please lets help make it faster and end more pain that others are going through. its simple please go to medicare website silver script you eill be shocked yet realived knowing that medicare is aware of all our nighmares.
the more of us that speak out the faster silver script goes down.
we need justice!!! medicare.gov is where we need to post thank you and lets get silver script gone sooner than latter!!!

Nightmare company is putting it mildly. This a company from the stone age. Their customer service is non existing. You have people who can’t answer questions, let alone resolve any issues. I was visiting relatives in Texas and was hospitalized for four (4) day with Cellulitis. Upon my release I was told that I could pick up my prescription at Walmart pharmacy. I was discharged and went to Walmart and the pharmacy was closed. I then went back to the hospital to get a paper prescription and had to locate a 24 hour CVS pharmacy. I went to the CVS pharmacy and gave them my prescription only to be told by the pharmacist that they could not authorize the prescription because it was to soon for a refill. I informed the pharmacist that I was just released from the hospital and that the prescription had not been filled, The pharmacist called Silver Script a 2nd time and informed them that I was there and the prescription had not been filled. Silver Script did not authorize the pharmacist to fill the prescription under my Silver Script plan. I was told that I had to go back to Walmart and have them reverse the prescription. I informed the pharmacist that I could not to that because I was traveling on a morning flight back to New York, and I had to take the next does of the medication before my flight. The pharmacist informed me that the prescription would cost me $151.99 out of pocket in order to have it filled on 10/2/18. I paid the $151.99 and upon arriving home I called Silver Script and told them what had happen (after making several calls and speaking to several customer representative, one (1) who was eating while I was explaining the situation for the 5th time) I was told to print their claim form and send the completed form and receipt to them. I received a denial letter on 11/16/16. I called Silver Script and asked why the claim was denied and was told that the plan only pays $2.00 for the drug and they could refund me the $2.00. You would think that your prescription plan would be able to assist with an emergency such as this.

Medicare should remove them from their list of prescription plan being offered. Since they clearly are not willing to be of assistance under any circumstance. If you are offered Silver Script as your prescription plan run, run, as fast as you can!!!!

Nightmare company, very poor customer service and misleading coverage. NOTHING has gone right since signing up with Silver Script. Their agents have bad attitudes and don’t seem to know what they’re talking about. When you challenge them on something, then the attitudes really get bad. Some generic meds are cheaper at Walmart, so buyer be aware!

No, I was told a drug would be covered before I joined SilverScript and after two prescriptions they denied it. I have had my doctor call, write letters, etc., and even appealed twice and within 12 hours of each appeal, I got an automated call saying it was denied. This is the worst prescription drug company I have ever dealt with, can’t wait to dump them in October.

This is a little off the course, but I notice that Silver Script hides its physical address. They only use P.O. boxes. I believe they know that their plan to lie and cheat their own customers could come back to haunt them if a really angry person knew their physical location. I bet they have security up the you know what at their hidden work place. Employees who are honest and quit should post their physical address just to _iss them off.

PISS THEM OFF? Well i doubt itd piss anyone off, like they care! Haha. Sure would make serving a summons to appear in court much easier though! I mean, for someone. Hmmmm. I think….

      Lol

Im blasting the truth about them ALL OVER THE INTERNET. It aint smearing when its fact. THAT WILL PACK A PUNCH. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME. YOU Arent doing WRONG WHEN ITS THE TRUTH!

Silverscript? If youre smart or even just ok intelligence- then you KNOW NOW
TIME TO TWEAK YOUR TNC AND POLICY AND PROCEDURES, JUST A LIL BIT.

HEED MY WORDS. OR ….NOT your loss. Ill have my issue handled and in the interim. Youll be in bankruptcy court. Oh well

Time for you to get blasted now!

      I meant what I said.

Don’t use Silver Script for your Medicare Plan D insurance. It is a nightmare of a company with which to deal. I’ve spent 5 month trying to resolve a billing issue. Nobody knows ANYTHING except that they want what they billed you. I think it is reasonably impossible to find anyone who will help you. You can ask for the “senior team” but they know nothing. You can ask to go above that and they won’t let you talk to anyone else.

I’m just biding my time until this Decemeber so I can sign up with a different insurance company.

They are a horrid company and like you, cannot wait until October to choose another company, no one could be as bad as they are. Drop coverage of prescriptions, no one who knows anything, appeals denied immediately – horrible, horrible, horrible.

The level of stupid at SilverScript is absolutely astonishing. I’ve been trying to get my mother on the plan for three and a half months, and every time I call, someone tells me something different. Here’s a conversation I just had:

“Is your mother aware that you are calling on her behalf?”

“No, she has dementia, which is why I have Power of Attorney, and you have all the paperwork.”

“Yes, but is she aware you are calling on her behalf?”
